Yes, well behaved dogs are more than welcome. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times. Dogs are welcome on market days. Please note, dogs are not allowed in the maize maze.
What are your opening hours?
We open 7 days a week from 9am – 4.30pm
I have heard about the dedicated early morning swim hour, can you tell me more about it?
This has now finished for the season. You can swim everyday from 9am – 4.30, no need to book, just turn up.
Do you offer evening swims?
We do not currently have any plans to open on any other evening at this time. Sam Holland from Wavelength swim school currently runs evening groups sessions in our lake. For further information on this, please contact Sam directly
Can I book to come to guarantee entry?
Unfortunately we do not take bookings, on arrival proceed to the admissions desk. If you are travelling far, please keep an eye on Facebook for the most up to date admission information.
Do you take bookings for swimmers/lake users?
No, you just turn up
Are there any toilets open?
We have portaloos onsite & our Cafe toilets are now open
I haven’t tried open water swimming before can I still come along?
Yes you can however we would advise you speak to a coach first to assess your ability. Open water swimming is much different to indoor pool swimming. Please read our terms and conditions.
Can we come along as a family to paddle in the water?
Yes you can but please read our lake users terms and conditions first
Is there food available when I am there?
Our Cafe is now open everyday from 9am – 4.30pm. Hot food is served until 3.30pm
Can I get a drink when I am there?
Yes, our ‘snug pod’ & cafe are open every day serving hot/cold drinks
Yes our Cafe is now fully open for dine in guests however there are strict covid regulations in place. We would recommend to book a table, please call 01948665914.

Can I bring along my paddleboard?
Yes, we welcome paddleboards, canoes & kayaks
Do you hire out equipment?

Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
Wetsuits are advised but not compulsory, please read our terms and conditions for further information

I bought a voucher to use in the café and it expired during lockdown, can I still use it?
Our Cafe is now open and if your voucher expired between March & September 2020 you have until December 2020 to use it. Thanks
Can I still swim on market days?
Yes all facilities are open as usual on market days.
