It sleeps two people and has exclusive access to your own rowing boat on a private jetty, open water swimming and a fire for cooking. A special place, a retreat from the fast lane and a romantic getaway. Designed around the views from the verandahs and balconies across Alderford Lake to open countryside and woodland.
Welcome to the home of Charles and Jane Bebbington, there are cosy sofas and a log fire in the drawing room and a grand piano in the hall. Guests say our two spacious en-suite bedrooms ‘ rival any five star hotel’. The ground floor room has a super king bed and upstairs there is a king-size bed and an extra wide single bed, with crisp cotton sheets, feather duvets and easy chairs. Bathrooms have large double showers and baths and oodles of hot water for a good soak after an exhausting day.
You may wish to stroll down to Alderford Cafe and enjoy breakfast overlooking the lake or enjoy an open water swim. For longer forays you can follow the towpath of Thomas Telford’s Llangollen Canal or explore the circular trails on Fenns, Whixall and Bettisfield Mosses National Nature Reserve
