Hire a Canoe
With a Canadian canoe you move smoothly and relaxed along the lake. This spacious canoe has plenty of room for passengers. It is ideal for family or friends.
It is the most suitable craft for a young family, as it is one of our most stable and driest crafts.
Our canoes are big enough for three people and with a 50 minute hire including the canoe, paddles and buoyancy aids for three participants.
Onsite we have changing facilities and showers as well as buoyancy aids, wetsuits and lockers to hire.
Hire a Paddleboard
Whether you’re seeking a relaxing solo excursion or an exciting group adventure, our top-of-the-line paddleboards are designed to elevate your experience on the water.
Probably our wettest craft, and it is likely that you will fall in at some point!
Your hire includes a paddleboard, paddle & buoyancy aid for 50 minutes. You will also need to listen to a short safety briefing before your session begins.
We also have Mega SUPs available to hire which are giant paddleboards and can hold up to 8 people at one time. Mega SUPs are great for families or groups of friends wanting to enjoy.
Hire a Kayak
Kayaks are easy to use and surprisingly stable. They are great fun for taking the kids out on the lake or paddling with friends.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced water enthusiast, our kayaks are a great way to take to the water and enjoy all the beautiful scenery Alderford has to offer.
Your 50 minute hire includes kayak, paddle and buoyancy aid.
We have both single and double kayaks available to hire, perfect if you are wanting to explore the lake alone, or with a friend.
Minimum age for all of our hire equipment is 4 but please check age rules on site before booking.
