Nightmare Island returns from 30th October-1st November 2026 as Alderford’s most intense Halloween route.
Built for older teens and adults who want more than a few jumpy moments, this horror-led experience throws you into dark woodland, live scares, eerie crossings, and a prison island where the line between reality and nightmare begins to disappear.
Recommended for ages 16+
Your journey begins deep in the dark woodland, where twisting paths, eerie sounds, and unsettling encounters close in from every angle. This 30-minute experience blends live scare actors, strobe lighting, and confined spaces into a relentless horror route.
After escaping the maze, you cross pulley bridges over the water to reach the island itself, home to the prisoners of Nightmare Island. Keep your nerve as the shadows tighten around you, because not everyone on the island is willing to let visitors leave quietly.
Your escape ends with the boat ride back across the lake, where you can finally catch your breath, if you still have it.
Can you Escape the Nightmare?
